like a bicycle wheel spinning after a crash,
nothing i could imitate, he’s like a cartoon,
he sounds sort of goofy when he laughs—forgets he has detention so he has to serve it twice,

careful not to interrupt, realizing we need the same things—next to impossible to make up my mind,
i want the world’s consent, picking a band name to the color of my hair,
people don’t get my intent—with the distance of a friendship,
